This is a detail of a brand new drawing I started in 2009. Graphite and paper with two layers of duralar.
It's now on display in the Faculty Show in MICA's Decker Gallery until October 16.

I've already visited this piece twice in person at the Faculty Show -- the experience of seeing it up close is intense, and emotional, for me. The drawing moves, seemingly for the viewer. It's extraordinary and alive.
The calmness, softness, smoothness and simplicity of this drawing is breathtaking, an inner-peace so pleasurable I wish I could become one with this piece: I wish I could see the real drawing, and be 'moved' physically by it. Thank you for sharing such beauty.
